John 21:9-14
Invitations From Christ
Introduction:
When it comes to the post-Resurrection appearances of our Lord Jesus He is no longer the Suffering Servant. He is the risen Lord, yet Someone who still serves His brethren. Jesus loves His own forever and He so often demonstrates that caring love for His sheep. In this text before us we see Jesus manifesting His loving hospitality. It’s time to eat! Come and dine. This aspect of our Lord’s ministry is so often emulated in the life of the believer. (Rom. 12:13; I Tim.5:10; Heb.13:2; I Pet.4:19)

If you are a Christian, listen carefully to Jesus’ last invitation: “Come ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” Matt.25:34
