John 19:12-15
Who is Your King?
Introduction:
In our affluent society we look around and see a nation seemingly prosperous and wealthy, a nation of plenty. We ask is it possible to serve God and riches and the same time? According to King Jesus, it is not possible to serve both. Matt.6:24
The Psalmist gives us a great perspective on this when he says in Psalm 24:1 “The earth is the Lord’s and all it contains…and those who dwell in it.” This indicates His Sovereign Divine right over His Entire creation. Therefore we are to focus upon the King of Glory. “Lift up your heads, O gates and be lifted up, O ancient doors that the King of glory may come in!” (Psa. 24:7)
