John 19:1-5
Behold Your King
Introduction:
The gospel of John helps us to focus upon the person and work of Christ. The world with all it’s trappings discourage many from looking into the face of Christ. Many refuse to look others completely ignore Him. Christ and His gospel are treating with disdain. But for those who love Him indeed, love Him not because we have greater insight or wisdom. As John says, “We love Him because He first loved us.” (I John 4:19) But our love is genuine and complete. We behold the God - Man who suffered, bled and died upon a cursed cross for our perfect redemption.
